Pictures!

Pictures, pictures, pictures! And a video too! (Click on the link)

I'm finally getting around to posting these. We went away this week for a night just to get away. It was wonderful. We really didn't want to come back. We could've stayed in the hotel for a long time. I told Bill as we were driving to the hotel that I would love to have a jacuzzi tub, but I figured if we could find it, it would be too expensive and we didn't need to spend that kind of money. He really wanted to stay in the Holiday Inn Express. So we stopped there. I took Isaac to walk down the hall and entertain him while Bill checked on a room. Bill motioned for me and said the only room they had left (some even was going on in town) was a King Size suite with a jacuzzi tub. Since we had already thrown caution tot he wind and just got in the car, Bill decided to take it. It was much more money than we wanted to spend, but let me just say it worth every single penny. We spent the evening just relaxing. We went to a good Italian restaurant for dinner and laughed as Isaac ate almost a whole bowl of mac and cheese. We turned in kind of early and put Isaac down which was fun since we've never all slept in the same room. It took almost an hour for him to go to sleep, but it was funny because he kept standing up in the crib just staring at us then he'd lay back down. So funny.
We got up the next morning and discovered that on one of our room keys that there was a coupon for 20% off at Denny's. We LOVE Denny's and rarely get to eat there. So about 8:30 I sent Bill down to get us a snack at the Continental breakfast the hotel offered until Isaac got up. We got our snack and then I decided to take a bath in the jacuzzi tub. Oh it was amazing. I felt so much better after that. it was like my back was a new one. So we all got ready, had breakfast at Denny's and then headed to the car to go home. So we started home, but decided to take a small detour through Pullman as we'd never really gone through. We ended up on a road and the GPS didn't know where we were. So since we were on an adventure we just drove. We got to a sign where we could turn right to go home or left to go to Post Falls. Bill thought it would be fun to turn left. So off we went. We had no idea what we were going to do once we got there, but decided to continue our adventure. Boy it was a good one. Not really exciting, low key but fun. We got to Post Falls and realized there was a Target and Best Buy. Like I said, not exciting, but when you haven't been to a Target in over a year it's very exciting. I can't even remember the last time Bill was able to go to Best Buy. We picked up a few things at Target, mostly some new toys for Isaac. As you'll see below, he got some punch balloons and he's just sure they are the best thing in the world. It took us 3 hours to get home and let's just say it was a long 3 hours, with a tired boy but we made it. We were almost sad to be back as we enjoyed getting away and not having to think about the circumstances of life right now. We know that God has a plan for our lives and that in His time, he will show it to us. But it's hard living that every day. So it was nice to escape those fears for even 24 hours.

So here are some pictures.

Isaac and his new punch balloon.

Isaac in the jacuzzi tub. He hated the jets, but LOVED the faucet.

He also really enjoyed the King Size bed with the nice white comforter. By the time we checked out, he could get up and down off the bed without help. He jumped all over the bed.

His new big boy bed. Not really a big boy bed, but the new crib.
We let baby Marley borrow our walker. Isaac hasn't even been in it in over 6 months, but he kept climbing in it, so finally I put him in it. He's way to big. It was funny to see him not even be able to sit down as the first time he got in it, his feet barely touched the floor.

Isaac and Daddy playing on Noah's new mattress. They kept trying to bounce each other off. Daddy won every time ;-)
