Not much has been happening to update you on. Isaac's two front teeth have come through. I actually got a picture of two of his four top teeth. He's definitely showing us that he wants to be independent as well as demanding. He wants what he wants when he wants it. Shame on us if we don't give it to him or it's later than he wants. We are working on that, but it's a long road. He's also developing his temper quite well. He has learned that if I tell him no or I move him away from something that he thinks he should scream and cry as loud as he can. I'm learning to ignore it. He's so close to walking. Of course we've been saying this for a while now. He's starting to just hold one of our hands and walk. Even last week if I'd let go of one hand, he would just sit down and cry. Now he will take about 10 steps and then he's done. Every now and then he will be playing at the table and let go, then he realizes he's not holding on and get's scared. It's actually quite funny to watch. He's just growing up so fast.
On Thursday, he woke up a few hours after we put him down for the night. This is very unusual for Isaac. So Bill and I both went to check on him. No matter what we did he wouldn't lay back down. He would scream every time we got close to the crib, even though most of the time his eyes were closed he was so tired. So Bill got him a bottle and took him downstairs. About a 1/2 hour later he brought Isaac up because he had gone to sleep but by the time he got upstairs Isaac was awake again. So I took him and he just laid in my arms and drank is bottle and slowly fell asleep. It was so precious. I can't remember the last time he fell asleep in my arms. So when Bill came in I didn't want to move. I told him it could be the last time he does this because he doesn't want to be held much anymore. So I enjoyed it for a few more minutes then put him back in his bed. He's such a little cutie! I cherish the moments I have with him even though some of them are very hard.
Well here are some pictures.
