Picture galore

We've been busy, but not busy. I know that doesn't make sense, but it doesn't take much to tire me out at this point, so after a few hours of being out and about I have to rest for a bit so it seems like we've been busy.
Not much has been happening to update you on. Isaac's two front teeth have come through. I actually got a picture of two of his four top teeth. He's definitely showing us that he wants to be independent as well as demanding. He wants what he wants when he wants it. Shame on us if we don't give it to him or it's later than he wants. We are working on that, but it's a long road. He's also developing his temper quite well. He has learned that if I tell him no or I move him away from something that he thinks he should scream and cry as loud as he can. I'm learning to ignore it. He's so close to walking. Of course we've been saying this for a while now. He's starting to just hold one of our hands and walk. Even last week if I'd let go of one hand, he would just sit down and cry. Now he will take about 10 steps and then he's done. Every now and then he will be playing at the table and let go, then he realizes he's not holding on and get's scared. It's actually quite funny to watch. He's just growing up so fast.
On Thursday, he woke up a few hours after we put him down for the night. This is very unusual for Isaac. So Bill and I both went to check on him. No matter what we did he wouldn't lay back down. He would scream every time we got close to the crib, even though most of the time his eyes were closed he was so tired. So Bill got him a bottle and took him downstairs. About a 1/2 hour later he brought Isaac up because he had gone to sleep but by the time he got upstairs Isaac was awake again. So I took him and he just laid in my arms and drank is bottle and slowly fell asleep. It was so precious. I can't remember the last time he fell asleep in my arms. So when Bill came in I didn't want to move. I told him it could be the last time he does this because he doesn't want to be held much anymore. So I enjoyed it for a few more minutes then put him back in his bed. He's such a little cutie! I cherish the moments I have with him even though some of them are very hard.
Well here are some pictures.

First pictures

So you think I post a lot of pictures now, wait until this second baby comes. You are gonna be overwhelmed.
Here's the first picture of Baby #2. You can't see much, but it was extremely reassuring to see the baby and the heart beat. It's heartbeat was 133 the first time and 167 the second time. They say since the baby is so little it's hard to get a really accurate reading. We are very excited and seeing the baby made it all the more real. Even though my waist is expanding daily it's still so much fun to see the baby!

What a Year

How can you just not love this smile!

You know me, constantly thinking about this time last year.....I know I should learn to think about the present and the future rather than the past. Yet, I love to see how far we've come in a year.
This time last year we were in Boise, Idaho, spending then evening and getting ready to make our trip to Lewiston the next days. Being 27 weeks pregnant and riding in the packed care for 4 days equals not so much fun. This year here we are, in Lewiston, we've made it a year!
So much has happened in this year. Me moved, I finished my Master's in January, we had a baby in January, made it through many ups and downs throughout this year.
This October where are we? Well we found out officially today that we are expecting Baby Ford #2. Are we crazy? Two kids less than 16 months apart. I guess God's plan is much bigger than ours. After almost a 3 years journey of trying to have Isaac Bill and I made the decision to let God have control. We wanted to have a bigger (not big, like 20 kids family) but a few kids. Little did we think it would be this soon. I was joking with Bill that last year at our Ladies retreat I was so ready to have a baby as Isaac was due about 4 weeks after and this year I was struggling to not get sick because of this baby. How strange God's plan is. A few months ago, we were told to prepare for the fact that we might not have any more children naturally. I had finally come to terms with the fact that my plan of a big family might not be God's plan of a big family. I was okay with that and loving Isaac more every day. Just a few short weeks later we find out we're having a second child. WOW, isn't God's plan so much bigger than we are?
As always, we're staying busy, but that's not a bad thing. Here are a few pictures from the last week or so.

What do you have Daddy?

Yummy bite

More please?????

Momma, he won't give me more ;-(

Reaching for the Cheerio he dropped, shortly after, the chair flipped.

I have conquered the tallest mountain, Mount Daddy!

Time to wrestle. Tell me it's not ingrained in their blood.

More Daddy, come back

What this Momma, it's my sneak attack

I know I'm horrible at updating lately

So it's been a while, but we've been so busy I haven't had much time to post. Last week was the missions conference and we were gone every night. Something has been going on every night this week and today was Sam and Kenneth's wedding so we've been gone most the day. But we got some really cute picture from today.
Isaac is moving around like crazy. He's starting to crawl around more on his hand and knees, however I think he's going to walk before he gets the hang of crawling. He cruises around the tables and anything he can pull up on. Now he's focusing on being able to stand up against the wall. We noticed last night that he will stand up on his own for a few seconds. He loves walking cause he can get there so much faster than crawling.
He's been a little under the weather the last few days. The change in weather here (I'm pretty sure we skipped Fall and went straight to Winter) has really hit him hard. I took him to the dr yesterday because I was afraid he had an ear infection. He would just pull on his ears and cry and cry. Turns out no infection! But the doctor said his ears are plugged up, just like ours would be coming down a mountain but of course he can't get them to pop, plus he's getting two more teeth and their ears can hurt while getting teeth. So he's been a bit on the fussy side but we will live. He got two teeth last week and the dr said he front two are coming in soon. Four teeth in two weeks, what in the world.
So here are some pictures from the last few weeks to share!
