Oh this kid is crazy busy. He's such a mover and a shaker, no doubt about it. Click here to see what he's doing now.

Here's a link to a video of Isaac's new trick in the bath tub. Until last week he refused to get the back of his head wet, then a few days ago, he just rolled over and learned how to do this...........

Fun Times
So here's a few pictures from the last week. He's moved from crawling to pulling up on everything now he's walking around everything he pulls up on. He's learned how to move from couch to couch, then figured out he has to walk across Bill's leg in order to reach the table. Then once he gets there, he has to pull everything off the table. It's a game we play about 100 times a day. We've found so many things that are just in his reach. I thought we'd baby proofed most of the house, but I guess not. He's now able to get up the stairs, at least up two of the stairs before I can catch him. We now need a gate at the top and bottom of the stairs.
So here's a few pictures.
Ready for the Buckeye Game

It took him about 5 seconds to figure out how to get off this.

8 months....where has the time gone?
Thought I would post some pictures on Isaac's 8 months birthday. Today he decided to climb over the arm on the couch. Fortunately I caught his foot right before he went over the edge. This boy has no fear. He wants to jump everywhere and crawl in the smallest of spots then gets upset when he hurts himself. He's a little boy through and through. No fear, wants to get into everything and he thinks he can conquer the world. He's the best baby in the world.
Enjoy the pictures.
Happy Boy

OOOOOPPPPPPSSSSSS. He passed gas :-)

Daddy trying to get him to get his tongue in his mouth

I think this might be my new favorite picture.

Who is that handsome boy?

He loves to dump all his toys in the floor.

Am I cute or what?

All clean

Oh Mom! He was swimming in the bath tub as usual.

Eating the boat

I love this face

Mom, I promise I'm not trying to eat the cord because you've told me not to eat it about a million times.

Chillin

Enjoy the pictures.

What a gorgeous day
Oh I just have to share what a beautiful day it is here in Idaho. I am always amazed at God's creation of the earth and what he has given. The beautiful flowers, the enormous trees, and these ginormous (yes I said ginormous) mountains here in Idaho to admire out or windows. I always loved looking at the mountains growing up in WV, but didn't realize that our hills/mountains are very small in comparison. Today is a gorgeous day here. The wind is blowing, I have all the windows open and the house is so cool! What a gorgeous fall day. But from what I've heard it's not quite fall yet. Yesterday it was still 103 degrees but it didn't feel quite as hot as normal. Today it should be in the upper 80's but the wind feels so good.
We celebrated Bill's 34th birthday yesterday by heading out to the new Wal-mart after work and a few errands. It's huge! Someone told us it was now the 2nd largest Wal-mart. Not sure how true that is, but Ive never seen one this big. I am disappointed that there is no fabric section but the baby section more than make up for it now. We are use to one small corner with about 4 aisles and not much selection. This one has 2 aisles of diapers alone and one whole aisle of food. To those of you who have stores with big baby departments I know this is not exciting, but I was thrilled last night. They have almost doubled their clothing section which is nice too. Bill of course headed over to electronics and I'm pretty sure he could've gotten lost their. We are used to a section smaller than the one at the old Wal-mart in Huntington. If you're not from Huntington, picture a very small section. This one is huge and it has much more a selection. They even have an area for you to sit down and print out pictures. We were amazed at how nice it was. And to top it all off, since the Wal-mart is in Clarkston, WA (about 7 minutes away) there's no tax on food. So not only did we get a very large food section there's no tax. Bill would also want me to mention that he can now get White Castle's in the frozen food section. We haven't been able to find them anywhere here. So he was ecstatic. I told him that was Wal-mart B-day present to him ;-)
We took Isaac to the doctor yesterday and he has another sinus infection. I'm not surprised. He's going to be like his momma that way and have them a lot I suppose. He now weighs 19 lb 7oz. Meaning he gained almost a whole pound in one week. At his 6 month check-up he weighed 16lbs 1 oz. 7 weeks later he's 19 lb 7 oz. He's getting so big and so mobile. This boy never wants to stop moving when he's awake. We had to get child proof locks last night because he's so curious about everything and moves a lot faster than I do. He's also amazed at his reflection again. I bought him a big mirror and he loves it. I asked the doctor if it was normal for him to be crawling so much on his belly and not pushing up on his hands and knees yet. He said actually it's not, he shouldn't be doing this until about 9 months. He also said "His motor skills are very advanced for his age." My heart got so big and I was so proud even though I probably had nothing to do with it. As Bill says he's a genius!
Well enough bragging, Isaac is awake from his nap and we're going to enjoy this beautiful day that God has blessed us with.
