Lots of pictures of my silly boy!

You'll figure out that these picture are backward in order, but you'll understand ;-)

Isaac got his first Ice Cream Cone tonight. Don't get me wrong, he's eaten tons of Ice Cream, probably before he should have, but tonight was his first time holding a cone.

You'll see that it's pretty much melted but he thought it was cool that if he
shook it the ice cream went in the floor. It didn't last much longer before I
said it was time to be done since he's already had 2 baths today.

This is pretty good Mom.

For dinner we had spaghetti. His absolutely favorite. He always wants to feed himself now.
You can put it on the fork or spoon then he has to put it in his mouth. Usually he does
very well for his age. He thinks you have to stab everything, he hasn't quite grasped
the scooping skill yet. Spaghetti is hard to stab and eat so he used many different techniques to make it in his mouth.

This is to show he even had it on the back of his neck when done.

Yes he decided to throw it across the room as I took a picture.

Yummy!!!!

Mommy and Noah had a baby shower and Isaac got "woof woof" pajama's from Miss Michelle and Miss Deb. He loved them. His mouth is blue because he has a blueberry ring pop.

Baby Shower....we got around 700-800 diapers and about 1200 wipes!

Isaac's friend Ty thought this was pretty cool. Strangely enough Isaac thought
the same thing when I got home.

Ty loved playing with the ribbon

Such a yummy ice cream cake. She made it out of ice cream bars. So good.

Then just a few random pictures.

He will smile now if you ask him to, but just for the camera.

Hard to see, but he loves putting Daddy's ear phones in and listening to music on the iPod.

His new thing for this week.....he loves to throw and hit things. No matter what's close, he likes to hit it. We will tell him No if he hits hard and tell him he needs to be easy and he immediately kisses wherever he's hit and says AAAWWWWW. That's how he says he's sorry. It's not cute, but it really is. Trying not to laugh is hard.

Noah update

Today we went for our 35 week check up. Noah's heartbeat sounded great as usual. My blood pressure was again perfect. You don't know how excited I am about that. I know with Isaac when my blood pressure was so high I always felt so tired. I don't think I could take that this time on top of already being tired. I gained 3 lbs. The most I've ever gained between visits with Noah or Isaac. This means I'm now back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I was hoping that I could get out of this one without gaining any since I only gained 3 with Isaac.
My doctor has said for several weeks now that he would take Noah on the 21st or 24th of May. Either date I wasn't too upset about, but the closer it gets I've been praying he would say the 21st. Today I was ready to beg for the 21st. Well I didn't have to beg. The dr said he'd put me on the schedule for May 21st. Not sure about the time, but we have four weeks to get that information. We are so excited that our little Noah will be here in four weeks!!!

Pictures!

Pictures, pictures, pictures! And a video too! (Click on the link)

I'm finally getting around to posting these. We went away this week for a night just to get away. It was wonderful. We really didn't want to come back. We could've stayed in the hotel for a long time. I told Bill as we were driving to the hotel that I would love to have a jacuzzi tub, but I figured if we could find it, it would be too expensive and we didn't need to spend that kind of money. He really wanted to stay in the Holiday Inn Express. So we stopped there. I took Isaac to walk down the hall and entertain him while Bill checked on a room. Bill motioned for me and said the only room they had left (some even was going on in town) was a King Size suite with a jacuzzi tub. Since we had already thrown caution tot he wind and just got in the car, Bill decided to take it. It was much more money than we wanted to spend, but let me just say it worth every single penny. We spent the evening just relaxing. We went to a good Italian restaurant for dinner and laughed as Isaac ate almost a whole bowl of mac and cheese. We turned in kind of early and put Isaac down which was fun since we've never all slept in the same room. It took almost an hour for him to go to sleep, but it was funny because he kept standing up in the crib just staring at us then he'd lay back down. So funny.
We got up the next morning and discovered that on one of our room keys that there was a coupon for 20% off at Denny's. We LOVE Denny's and rarely get to eat there. So about 8:30 I sent Bill down to get us a snack at the Continental breakfast the hotel offered until Isaac got up. We got our snack and then I decided to take a bath in the jacuzzi tub. Oh it was amazing. I felt so much better after that. it was like my back was a new one. So we all got ready, had breakfast at Denny's and then headed to the car to go home. So we started home, but decided to take a small detour through Pullman as we'd never really gone through. We ended up on a road and the GPS didn't know where we were. So since we were on an adventure we just drove. We got to a sign where we could turn right to go home or left to go to Post Falls. Bill thought it would be fun to turn left. So off we went. We had no idea what we were going to do once we got there, but decided to continue our adventure. Boy it was a good one. Not really exciting, low key but fun. We got to Post Falls and realized there was a Target and Best Buy. Like I said, not exciting, but when you haven't been to a Target in over a year it's very exciting. I can't even remember the last time Bill was able to go to Best Buy. We picked up a few things at Target, mostly some new toys for Isaac. As you'll see below, he got some punch balloons and he's just sure they are the best thing in the world. It took us 3 hours to get home and let's just say it was a long 3 hours, with a tired boy but we made it. We were almost sad to be back as we enjoyed getting away and not having to think about the circumstances of life right now. We know that God has a plan for our lives and that in His time, he will show it to us. But it's hard living that every day. So it was nice to escape those fears for even 24 hours.

So here are some pictures.

Isaac and his new punch balloon.

Isaac in the jacuzzi tub. He hated the jets, but LOVED the faucet.

He also really enjoyed the King Size bed with the nice white comforter. By the time we checked out, he could get up and down off the bed without help. He jumped all over the bed.

His new big boy bed. Not really a big boy bed, but the new crib.
We let baby Marley borrow our walker. Isaac hasn't even been in it in over 6 months, but he kept climbing in it, so finally I put him in it. He's way to big. It was funny to see him not even be able to sit down as the first time he got in it, his feet barely touched the floor.

Isaac and Daddy playing on Noah's new mattress. They kept trying to bounce each other off. Daddy won every time ;-)

Oh how I wish I had a picture.....

Pictures are worth 1000 words, right? Well to be honest, I wish I had a video which I'm working on. Isaac has been big into dancing lately. His favorite place to dance you ask? Any table he can climb on. Yes, I've taught him to be a table dance ;-) His favorite song to dance to is the new song on Bill's baseball game "All In." He even knows when the music is about to come on and stands there waiting in anticipation with the biggest eyes. He knows what's coming. But, he will dance to any type of music. He's even figured out how to turn his computer to the music setting and plays songs just so he can dance.
The fun thing for today.......We went over to see Bill before heading out to have a play date. He was a little grouchy this morning and Bill was listening to his iPod and Isaac heard the music. So Bill decided to deck him out with his iPod. He put it on the Praise and Worship music, turned it down and stuck it in Isaac's back pocket and put the ear buds in Isaac's ears. He immediately ran into the main office area and started dancing around. He was SO excited. He danced and danced and laughed and giggled. He was so excited. When one of the ear buds would fall out, he would even try to put it back in. He was turning circles, stomping his foot and twirling his hands in the air. All of the adults were rolling in the floor and poor Isaac couldn't quite figure out why we were all laughing but it was the cutest thing in the world. We tried later this afternoon to recreate the moment for some other people in the office and once again, he went crazy dancing. He's such a silly boy. I've got to catch a video of it because it's the funniest thing you've ever seen.
I had to go buy Isaac new shoes today. His size 6 tennis shoes won't zip anymore because they are so tight and I can barely stuff his feet in theme. He even cries. So I thought it was time. This boy is growing out of shoes and clothes faster than I can keep up with him. So we went to one of my favorite consignment shops to look for shoes. They had a pair of Sketchers in a size 7 that I liked but thought they would be too big. Boy was I wrong. He has just a little bit of room to grow. His little chunky feet and ankles look so cute. We were joking today that he doesn't even have ankles, he has kankles. His clothes are getting too small way too quick lately. He not only can't wear any clothes that he got for his birthday just three months ago, but has almost completely grown out of the 18th months now. All of his shirts are 24 months or 2T and his 18 months pants are getting too small. I just can't believe that he's pretty much skipped the 18 months clothes. My little baby isn't a baby anymore. He's got new boo boo's every day. It's cute to see him say boo boo, he confuses his boo boo with his elbow and it's so funny to see him show you. Of course lately he's got a new boo boo every day. He keeps showing you his boo boo on his arm and says "boo" every now and then we get "boo boo" every though it's pretty much healed at this point. He fell at the park on Sunday and has a big scratch on his head, but he won't show you that boo boo. He also has a nice bruise on his earlobe. We have no idea how he got it but he will show you that one. Oh the joys of having a mobile, busy little boy. Always something new to show off to anyone who will pay attention. Or for Isaac, even if they don't pay attention he still shows them. It's funny now when we got out to eat, when leaving he must wave at every person before he can walk to the door. He gets very upset when people don't wave back. Today at Wendy's he had the whole place turned around talking about how cute he is. He's a little heart breaker. I love my boys!

What's on my mind

As most of you know I'm addicted to Facebook, like a good portion of the world. It always says "what's on your mind?" Well they don't give you enough room to answer that question. What's on my mind today? Well I'm gonna share with you.
Today we moved around the boys room and set up the second crib. Not a big task, yet it is very overwhelming to see my baby standing in the crib jumping up and down having a good ole time and looking across the room and seeing around crib all ready for another baby. Emotionally that's too much for me today. I don't know why, but it made it so real. Bill just kind of laughed and said something to the effect of "doesn't your growing, moving belly make it real?" I guess this time I know I'm pregnant (that fact is hard to miss), but since we haven't had to do the preparation that we did for Isaac it's not quite real. I'm having a baby shower in a few makes, that will probably even make it more real. Probably because we have so much going on in our lives right now, sometimes the thought that in six week we'll have a baby isn't on the forefront of our minds. However I can't decide if that's good or bad right now.
Another thing on my mind....... I forgot what it's like to be a few weeks away from having a baby. The lack of energy is almost scary. I feel like I've got to sit down and rest every five minutes. At least I've learned that I need to rest now. You would think the second time around I would already know this. Last weekend I did way too much and ended up having contractions all day on Sunday. So, it's rest time for me. Although I must do it, it's hard. I feel like my house is a mess, the laundry isn't done and there are so many things I need to be doing, like packing and preparing for a baby even if we don't know where or when we are moving.
So I guess today what's on my mind......a feeling of being very overwhelmed. I don't like these days. Fortunately with being pregnant, these emotions pass quickly so in a few minutes I'll be happy again.

April Update

Easter Sunday

His first Dilly Bar, he LOVED it.

My amazing find of a double stroller for $23. Can't beat that.

Just a fun upside down picture

He and Daddy had to have a rest after Isaac decided it was time to wrestle.

Loving his new whale.

I just realized it's been a while since I updated you on our life. But there's not a huge amount to update you on.
As for Isaac, he's in a climbing phase and a Daddy phase. He climbs on everything. The table, the chairs, the stairs, everything. He's even learning to move things over to climb on if he can't get on the table or whatever it is that he wants on top of. Every day at 4:45 he knows Daddy should be home soon. So he goes to he window and climbs up on the stool to look at the window and he bangs on the window until Daddy comes home. He's become a huge Daddy's boy unless he gets hurt. Then of course he wants Mommy. He cries for Daddy quite often. He goes to the stairs and pulls on the gate and yells in his cute way "DADEEEEEEE."
He got a big "boo boo" this week. He loves to disapear into the spare bedroom and knock on the lamp. It's hollow so it makes a cool sound. Every time he does it he gets in trouble cause I don't want him to turn it over. Well, Wednesday he disappears yet again and I yell for him and he doesn't come so I stand up to go get him and I heard a crash. He cried for a second but I figured he just scared himself. About an hour later I see this red mark on his arm, but really didn't think about it much as he still hadn't cried. Then by the time he got up from his nap he had a huge blister. It doesn't look very pretty, but it could be worse. It doesn't seem to bother him much.
Well I started this on Sunday and got interrupted and now it's Wednesday and just getting back to it. So much for a lazy stay at home mom job ;-)
Baby Noah is doing good. Growing continually. I feel like I get bigger every day. We are getting more and more excited for him to arrive. Hard to believe that in a little over 6 weeks he will be here. Bill said something last night about being a family of four. WOW, that was almost overwhelming.
That's about it for this week. I will try to keep you updated more.
