Easter Egg hunt

Last year we went to the Sam Davis home for an Easter egg hunt so we thought we'd make this a tradition. As with most children, the older the boys get the more they enjoy it. To think last Easter, Noah was just beginning to walk and Isaac could barely put a sentence together. My oh my how things have changed.
This year the boys hunted eggs, played some games and got their faces painted. Isaac got a baseball (shocking, I know) and Noah became a bunny. Evidentally we wore the bunny out as he fell asleep shortly after we got in the car.
Last night we asked Isaac what Easter was about and he said eggs. So we had to have a Bible lesson and learn the real meaning of Easter. Easter is my favorite holiday, I think. There's not a whole lots of planning or money that goes into. We are free to celebrate our Risen Savior. The real reason we have a hope in Christ.  The church on the corner puts up wooden crosses on Good Friday and on Sunday an empty tomb. As a Christ follower, howw can you not be excited over His resurrection?
